ONCE INTEGRATED, HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE THE PLAYER TO CONVERT THE AUDIO?

BotTalk Web Player caches the audio edition. Meaning, the first listener will experience a short buffering (1-2 seconds). The rest will start the playback instantly. Our player is very lightweight, so your website performance will not be affected.

DOES BOTTALK WEB PLAYER WORK BOTH ON DESKTOP AND MOBILE?

Yes, you can integrate BotTalk Audio Player on your desktop and mobile website. In mobile devices, it will play native, even after turning the phone into lock mode.

WHERE CAN I PLACE THE PLAYER IN MY ARTICLES?

You can choose the player's exact location: after the headline, after the summary, in the middle of the article - as you wish. For best performance results, we recommend placing it above the fold. You can further customize the player, match your website's design, and add a custom Call to Action ("Listen to this article").

WHAT TEXT PARTS DOES THE AUDIO PLAYER READ?

Our player automatically identifies headlines, body text, tables, lists, or image captions. Only the relevant information gets converted into speech to guarantee an optimized audio experience.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I UPDATE MY TEXT?

BotTalk Web Player automatically updates the audio file accordingly to your changes and always provides the latest version to your website visitor.

HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR CONTENT?

To safeguard your article from unauthorized use in machine learning, we employ a method that involves disassembling the article into individual sentences and processing them asynchronously. This approach ensures that third parties cannot infer the context or utilize the content to train their language models.

WHICH LANGUAGES ARE SUPPORTED?

BotTalk is available in 84 different languages (including language variants, like Austrian German). Moreover, you can choose between 661 voices (and counting): to generate male, female, or children's speech.

CAN I SWITCH BETWEEN VOICES?

Using automation rules, you can switch between voices automatically. For example, an article's voice can match the gender of the author.

DO I NEED SPECIFIC SSML KNOWLEDGE WORKING WITH BOTTALK?

We created BotTalk user interface to be intuitive and straightforward. You don't need any specific knowledge for working on your dictionaries or creating audio automation rules.

CAN I INTEGRATE THE DATA INTO GOOGLE ANALYTICS?

Yes, you can add analytics generated by BotTalk to the data warehouse of your choosing, for instance, into Google Data Studio. Please refer to our Reports API documentation for further information.
